LIVE PEEPSHOW!!!!XXX!X

ah, home again. the Brussels trip was fantastic. i left with no expectations at all and was very pleasantly surprised! landed at about 7pm and made my way to the north station where my hotel was located. but due to lack of maps and directions given by a complete retard i spent 2 hours looking for the hotel. which was about 500 meters from the north station. had to call my brother for instructions on how to get there. he did a great job and i found the hotel within minutes.

fortunately the hotel was really good, and i wrapped up the first night with a little Futurama in my BIG bed and a minibar snack due to starvation.

the next morning i took a cab from my hotel to the hotel where the conference was being held. there was about 90 people invited, 3 from each EU country i think, and only 4 or so didn't show up. so it was a great turnout. i was the only swede there though.
they started out by welcoming everyone and introducing some faces. we got the chance to ask some journalists and fellow bloggers about tips and there were people from other medias there as well. first day was mainly about blogs and technical stuff, presenting the platf for the competition and the community. interesting stuff. and a great lunch!

when we were finished i went back to the hotel with my new found friends Matthias from Germany (but currently residing in the Netherlands) and Mats from the Netherlands. we freshened up a bit and headed for the restaurant were dinner was being held. great food! and at the dinner i met yet another new friend, Jakob from Germany. some interesting discussions were being held and you could tell that the intoxication level started to rise. after dinner we walked to a bar and downed a few beers. but since the day started pretty early i was tired and so was Jakob so we were back at the hotel at about 2am or so.

on Tuesday morning you could really tell that people were kind of worn out since everyone was late for the European Parliament. this day was all about politics, and we got a chance to throw some questions at the politicians. i'm really bummed out about not getting the tour of the Parliament building though, but we did see some of it. and i met another swede there! Christofer Fjellner who is representing Moderaterna in the EP. really cool guy.

well got to run now. busy, busy!

if you don't like my fire, then don't come around

whew, haven't been up this early since i got home. woke up at eight!

Burn After Reading might be the funniest movie of 2008. the acting, characters and storytelling is outstanding! some of the scenes had to be rewinded and slowmowed, pure fun.

i should be getting into politics right now, but all i can do is write on the book. "I think it's going to be pretty explosive." the title is "A Waste of Space". might not be that long though. heh.

i'm gonna burn one down

Guschto for president.

nice! you have my vote. http://www.myspace.com/leapingboy

sundays are slow, so please, entertain me.

TV has gotten so bad that i don't even watch it anymore. the shows they put on are just cheap knockoffs of previous shows, or just crap. where's the creativity? i mean do people actually spend their precious time watching this horseshit? and when there finally is something on worth watching, they fuck it up with commercials. this needs to change or TV will die, i hope.

no more, no less.

waking life

last night i met up with Simon and Emma at Thangs place. long time since i met Emma now and she's just as cool as ever. we had funzies. tonight, no plans yet. hopefully something will come up soon. listening to Boards of Canada, really refreshing music. makes me want to write. so perhaps i'll start this saturday evening by doing that, need to start putting this book together now.

i now have the tickets for my Brussels trip! excitement! will be fun meeting some new people. i just hope their not all politic junkies, since i'm not, and the competition is about european politics. i gotta start reading up a little. lazy.

i just read about a buy named Andre.. he ripped his own eye out and ate it. he also murdered his family. but that's not as original as ripping your eye out and eating it, that takes determination. just thought you would like to now there still is people out there trying new shit.

and now my mom gave me a mission. i gotta go pick up the lovely Cina, so i'm off. but i'll try to have some interesting discussions this evening that i can write about. as long as Guschto and i get together it shouldn't be a problem!

high or low, the tide is always gonna come in.

they did bad things to me

woha. back from spain. i had a lovely time, terrific food and we lived in a damn castle! also i met some fantastic people there. was kind of sad to leave, but hopefully i meet them all at this years summer-party. and two weeks enough time down there.

now i'm looking for work or studies. something to keep me fed while i write the book, which hopefully won't be crap! probably won't feed me but it would be awesome with something finished.

i also drank mead for the first time. was kind of surprised as i thought it would be like beer. but it was more like wine. a sweet "after-dinner" kind of wine. i really liked it.

well, i have nothing more to say at the moment. i shall return.

i'm playing the game, the one that will take me to my end
